Size Guide
Vintage sizing varies widely from modern norms, so here at Savior Clothing we provide you with hand measurements for each one of our vintage pieces. To ensure the best possible fit, review the measurements associated with each piece before purchasing. You should compare the measurements given with the measurements of a similar garment in your closet.
Measuring Guide
Every item in our store should have at least two measurements listed - the chest and the length. All measurements are taken with the garment laying flat and unstretched. Chest: The chest measures the distance from armpit to armpit. It is usually the widest part of the shirt. Length: The length measures the distance from the highest point of the shoulder to the hemline (bottom). Sleeve: The sleeve should be measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff or sleeve hem. |
Modern Size Equivalent
For ease of reference, we have also translated our hand measurements into a modern size for each item. These are based on traditional men's sizes. |
